With  an undergraduate degree in Business Administration majoring in accounting, Lyle  Krug brings to the firm a strong business background in finance. At Plager, Krug, Bauer, Rudolph & Stodden, Ltd. he contributes in the areas of taxation, business and estate planning, and business organizations.

With Mr. Krug’s guidance, the law firm has undertaken to successful completion numerous cases involving breach of fiduciary duties as a result of betrayal by children, attorneys-in-fact under Powers of Attorney, and others in position of trust. In recent years, cases of these types have been prosecuted in Stephenson County, Illinois, Carroll County, Illinois, DeKalb County, Illinois, JoDaviess County, Illinois, Ogle County, Illinois and Dane County, Wisconsin and Green County, Wisconsin.

Mr.  Krug is a member and past president of the Stephenson County Bar Association, a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, Colorado Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association where he has served as a member of the Federal Taxation Section Council.
As  an active participant in community affairs, Mr. Krug has served on the Board of Directors for Highland Community College Foundation, St. John United Church of  Christ Endowment, Chain Link Cyclists, Freeport Aquatic Swim Team, and Monroe Clinic.
